| Hobbies: | I am a wildlife conservationist and photographer. Much of my time is currently spent on anti-poaching...rhino in particular. So, I get to live in the most beautiful parts of the bush with many stunning sunsets and sunrises and many very happy (and some sad) times. I am fortunate to be living my dream and can honestly say that just living my life is what I do for fun. I tend to live a bit wild (not bad) and on the edge....but as the saying goes "on the edge is a beautiful place to be" ?. | | Hot spots: | Favorite hangout just has to be a remote waterhole at sunset, with chilled champaigne to watch the animals ending their day.....or a sunrise to watch them starting their day. I also love he ocean...a beach at sunrise or sunset. One if my bush camps on a full moon summers night can also be pretty special. But, because I don�t often get to them, I can also do a good restaurant or fun pub....preferably with live music (and hopefully they don�t frown too hard at dancing on the tables). | | Favorite things: | I enjoy good food, good wine and special time with special people. My life lets me meet many people - some famous, most ordinary, but a love interacting with all of them. And...I can cook !. I love early morning coffee....a late night hug. To cause someone to laugh or even just smile - to give them a special day or even just a few special moments. I have a wide taste in music, from classical guitar to rock....I haven�t quite learned to appreciate opera or heavy jazz (probably little chance). But, to know that each day I have managed to protect even just one rhino or other of our precious wild animals is a reward for me. | | Last reading: | I don't get much time to read, but when i do i enjoy reading a good novel....Wilbur Smith is a favorite, so that kind of novel. I also enjoy reading poetry ( don't laugh !!...even us bushmen can have some culture). |
