| Hobbies: | Every day is fun since I retired four years ago. I feel have had paid my dues and now is the time to reap the benefits and being fortunate to have the best view in the world outside my bedroom window, I wake up each morning full of gratitude and excitement for the day ahead. I am quite involved with an NGO where I volunteer with courses, present courses and encouraging others to work at personal growth and positive outlooks. I also play bowls, love to read, am addicted to Sudoku puzzles and enjoy socialising. I'm a good conversationlist...I think, and have a naughty sense of humour. I know it's a cliche, but I really do try and live each day to the best and find positives in most situations. A great believer in we can't change what may be thrown at us, but we can change how we react to it. | | Hot spots: | In the summer I like to spend time outdoors, so outdoor eating, parks, braais, socialising with friends. I like experiencing different places although not a great fan of cordon bleu cooking. | | Sports: | Swimming, Dancing, Walking / Hiking | | Favorite things: | Calamri...don't ask me why...I just love it! My favourite colour may depend on my mood and my favourite music...anything from clasical to the Beetles...just not rap! | | Last reading: | I have just finished 'Born a Crime' by Trevor Noah. An insightful book about his youth and an eye opener as to how so many people existed in the background of an unjust society. I take my hat off to Trevor Noah for having overcome so much and not held a grudge!! | | Common interests: | Coffee and conversation, Dining out, Movies / Videos, Museums and art, Music and concerts, Performing arts |
