| Hobbies: | Discovering the Cape by taking drives to visit every padstaal and coffee shop en route to another unknown small town is an adventure, and some of the B&Bs are a real treat. Finding little gems in these villages and towns will make Indiana Jones proud.
When at home alone, watching DVDs or listening to music is a regular pastime. Morgan Freeman, Anthony Hopkins, Edward Norton, Johnny Depp, Ashley Judd, Emma Thompson, Kevin Spacey, Tom Hanks and Ryan Gosling are some of my favourite actors. Stephen King movies like The Green Mile, Thinner, & Shawshank Redemption are part of my personal collection, as well as other mind bender movies like Fracture, The Life of David Gale, Seven and The Forgotten. A riveting action movie like 300 is good to escape to when the mood is right.
I love make a special effort to cook and bake for others, I believe that it makes people feel special and spoilt. When trying new recipes, I tend to deviate a little put my on twist to it and so far so good � no reported food poisonings! Do you have a talent in the kitchen; I am keen to learn some new tricks/family secrets?
Summer days just scream �pina coloda!� and swimming pools. I tend to land up in the swimming pool more often that sipping pina colodas, and usually with a bunch of neighbourhood kids who are anxious to splash and go wild! Autumn slows things down and has my brain ticking over to fireplaces, red wine, scrabble, card games, snuggling in late on rainy days and steamy windows. Which season is your favourite?

I most enjoy a roast leg of lamb with a variety of veggies for a Sunday meal with family and friends. I can almost never resist a good Tiramasu, but am not too phased by other desserts.
I have a wide range of music that I listen to, it depends on my mood. I have some 50�s, 60�s, 70�s, 80�s, Edith Piaf, Billy Joel, Cat Stevens, Pink Floyd, Sting, Seal, Van Morrison, Queen, Elton John, Crowded House, Men at Work, Erasure, some classical, some commercial Italian like Eros Ramazotti &Il Divo , some opera, some meditation type, some movie soundtracks, a little hard rock � I do not enjoy rap or hip-hop.
My favourite colours are blue, purple, black, white, red and yellow. I do however have favourite colours for different things. I like my linen white at least 90% of the time, my furniture neutral natural colours, my underwear black, white or nude/beige, my trousers & skirts black and grey, shirts a variety of colours but mainly blue, black and white. | | Last reading: | Eat, Pray, Love - was the last book that I started to read, still busy with it. Doing an odd spontaneous activity like going for a late night drive and stopping off somewhere to overnight, or waking up really early to go watch the sunrise from lookout point with a flask of coffee and rusks � or a pillow and popcorn fight � will make for good memories and bonding time. Having a killer scent and soft kissable lips can only seal the deal as all resistance crumbles. |
