| Hobbies: | For fun, I'll try anything once. Anything can be good when it's done with the right people. I like going out to eat, sometimes hang out at a social cafe or lounge. In the summer it's nice to braai with friends, or take a picnic on the rare occassion. I also go to the cinema once in a while, but I think watching at home can actually be more fun. I read an awful lot in my free time, and sometimes I even try to get a bit of writing of my own done. | | Hot spots: | I like so many restaurants I wouldn't know where to start. Given the choice I'll pick the new, out-of-the-ordinary indie place over the fast-food chain outlet. Favourites include Continental, Meditteranean, Oriental and US Diner style cuisine. With nightlife, I'll choose a laid back cafe or lounge with quiet, maybe latin music for dancing and a knowledge of proper cocktails to hang out at and have a few laughs with friends rather than a loud, overcrowded club. I will brave the crowds for an awesome live music gig where I can see some local up and coming artists. | | Sports: | Martial arts, Running, Swimming, Dancing, Weights / Machines | | Favorite things: | Music wise, I like lots of things. | Date me: | Shy at first, but a real character once I get acquainted. Seeking experiences outside of my usual. I try to maintain an air of old-world charm, spliced with a new school savvy. Love having a laugh, learning new skills and trying new things. My life is definitely not where I want it to be, lot of things I want to change, but I like to consider it a work in progress. Sometimes I can get into my own little world and my sad spells can be quite strong, but when I'm having fun, I can experience and bring happiness just as intensely. Sometimes I seem standoffish, but I'm really just too polite to get too familiar quickly. Once I warm to people I'm the first to start little in jokes and always there to lend what help or comfort I can. I have a creative streak so when I'm free I try to get a little writing done or work on other projects. I'm maybe a bit more of an indoorsy type, but I can enjoy the occasional picnic or open-air concert. My policy on life tends to be that one should do whatever you enjoy, if there's a cost for that, then its for the person to deal with, so everyone else can mind their own business. | | What I want: | I'm looking for a girl as beautiful on the inside as she appears. If you value friends, honesty and spontaneity, that's a huge plus. Please have some opinions, but also be open to learning and having long back and forth discussions about random things. Confidence is hot. Someone like me might need a little bit of fun and craziness to colour in the order I like to keep. Would like to meet someone who gets me to do things I haven't done before. I'm a little bit of a sucker for anyone who lets me be the hero, even when I know she's strong, independent and self sufficient. |
